January - 2010
The Spot Report In October of 2009, at the San Diego 7th Annual Gathering, it was unanimously accepted at the General Assembly of the members present, to discontinue printing and mailing a "hard copy" of the MCITTA newsletter, The Spot Report. After due consideration and discussion, it was determined that the cost of printing and mailing was critical to the Association's limited budget. In lieu of printing, it was decided to send out our newsletter by electronic means using the format of the E-Bulletin with links to the MCITTA website for a PDF copy of our journal in full color. It is important that the Administrative Chief be kept current of your E-Mail address. Please take a moment to send Felix Conde a notice at his address indicated at the left.
Feel free to contact any of the Board
members with your comments and/or concerns about this decision; or
on any subject of interest to the administration of the Association.

A Personal Plea
from the Chairman
Dear Members,
As you now know, the leadership
of the MCITTA recently reorganized in order to allow flexibility
and progress in the future. Looking toward the future I see an
area or two that must be addressed in an effort to be pro-active
vice reactive.
MCITTA elected to go electronic
in it's dissemination of data ie: this E-Bulletin
and our newsletter The Spot Report.
This appeal is designed to forestall a time when, by necessity,
we must scramble to keep the membership informed.
At present these media are
being handled by one person. That one member cannot be expected
to perpetually publish these items. He has been doing so since
2003. I am making this appeal to our membership, you in
particular, to step forward and accept this responsibility. I
can and do guarantee whoever takes this task will have the
utmost assistance and guidance in publishing the two products.
Our organization will work as
long as its members, you, make it work. Be bold and take this
opportunity to assist MCITTA in meeting its stated goals and
purpose. Take this opportunity to own a piece of MCITTA
heritage. I am asking you to contact me at
flsfrtrs@comcast.net once you have made your decision to
pitch in. Thank you.
Semper Fidelis,
Harry Todd
